Reiki Presentation on 22 March / 5 April

Reiki (pronounced ray-key), simply translated from Japanese, means spiritual energy. It is a holistic, light-touch, energy-based healing modality, introduced by Mikao Usui in Japan during the late 1800’s to early 1900’s. Today, Reiki has been expanded and diversified under various names, but we continue to teach the original three level format known today as Usui Shiki Ryoho.

Reiki energy is universal life force energy that comes from an all-encompassing creative source that everything is made from (including the animal kingdom, plant kingdom, mineral kingdom and all inanimate objects) and it is an extremely powerful healing energy.

Reiki re-establishes a normal flow of life-force energy (Ki/Chi/Prana) within the body to heal all levels – physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. Reiki frees and aligns the body’s energy system, which in turn releases pain on all levels – physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. Reiki aids the body in releasing stress and tension by creating deep relaxation and it restores energy balance and vitality by relieving the physical and emotional effects of unreleased stress. It gently and effectively opens blocked meridians (energy pathways) and chakras (energy centres) and clears the energy bodies, leaving you feeling relaxed and at peace. Simply by placing your hands (fingers together) on yourself or on another person, allows the energy to flow from the universal source through your body and out through your hands into your client or self.

Reiki does not conflict with other healthcare methods, but invariably enhances the results. It does not interfere with conventional medical treatment, but facilitates the overall healing benefits. Reiki healing is a pure energy form and when it is combined with the sincere desire or focused intention of the client, a deep level of healing occurs on four levels (physical, mental, emotional and spiritual) and this manifests in their life as harmony and balance.

The Reiki curriculum traditionally offered, teaches three degrees or levels of traditional Reiki. Reiki Level 1 (also called the 1st degree), is the foundation of all three levels. The main purpose of Reiki Level 1 is to learn about self-healing, which involves taking responsibility for your own health and well-being. After completing Reiki Level 1, you may also heal others, as well as animals freely or by donation for non-professional purposes. Through an attunement ceremony, you are initiated by a Reiki Master Teacher to Reiki. This helps you to facilitate and strengthen your connection to universal life force energy, allowing it to flow through you to raise your personal energy level.

JK Reiki School is happy to introduce another Reiki Level 1 course in the English language. The course will take place at the weekend of 16 and 17 April. On the first day, the students will be introduced and attuned to Reiki. They will learn the basics of Reiki philosophy, and the basic techniques of meditation and self-healing with Reiki. On the second day, the group will study the ways of using Reiki in everyday life – room cleanse, programming crystals, removing undesired energies and stimulating desired energies. We will speak about Oriental human energy systems (channels, diamonds, chakras, bodies), meditate, visualize, breathe and give Reiki to sitting and lying course mates. Finally, everyone, who has participated on both days, will receive a certificate.

On 22 March and 5 April will take place two similar presentations, where we show slides and a short video about Reiki and offer each participant an opportunity to experience Reiki energy, to sense Reiki energy flowing and their own energy field receiving it. Each presentation costs 5 € and is not an integral part of the course, but an option to gather some information or personal experience before deciding. The March presentation takes place online. You may participate, wherever you are. The April presentation takes place in the same place as the course. There you can meet the teacher in person, see the venue and sense the atmosphere before the course. Please register, if you want to come!

Both the course and April presentation will take place in the district of Tartu called Karlova, at the address Saekoja 36a-310. https://www.google.ee/maps/place/Saekoja+36a,+50107+Tartu/@58.3632585,26.7267484,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x46eb37257710181f:0x900d780b4d9e2afd!8m2!3d58.3632585!4d26.7289371
